Four things most pages get wrong
Age is counted on 1 July 2025
Eligible birth dates: 02.07.2000 to 01.07.2007. This is the latest notice; a new cycle will set a new cutoff.
Constable is 18–25, SI is 20–25
Constable comes from the Delhi Police Constable exam; SI comes from SSC CPO, with a higher minimum age.
Children of Delhi Police staff get up to 29
Sons and daughters of serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel and MTS may apply up to 29.
Ex-servicemen relaxation depends on category
After deducting service: 3 years (UR/EWS), 6 (OBC) or 8 (SC/ST).
One more thing about the posts
Constable (Executive) Male and Female use the same 18–25 window. Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police is recruited through SSC CPO at 20–25 (see the SSC CPO page).
