The one-time 3-year relaxation in the maximum age for all categories comes from GO I/1194447/6-1001(008)/24/2023 dated 05.01.2026, under Rule 3 of the UP Public Service (Relaxation of Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules, 1992, as published in the UPPRPB corrigendum of 05.01.2026 to advertisement PRPB-B 07/2025. Age is counted on 1 July 2025 and the relaxation covers only this drive's 32,679 posts. OBC, SC and ST relaxation applies only to domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.

The advertisement sets 22 for men and 25 for women; the 05.01.2026 Government Order adds 3 years for everyone, so 25 and 28.

Category relaxation needs UP domicile

OBC, SC and ST candidates from other states apply under General limits.

The UPPRPB corrigendum dated 5 January 2026 to advertisement PRPB-B 07/2025 cites GO I/1194447/6-1001(008)/24/2023 dated 05.01.2026, which grants a one-time 3-year relaxation in the maximum age to candidates of all categories for Direct Recruitment 2025 (32,679 posts), under Rule 3 of the UP Public Service (Relaxation of Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules, 1992. Age is still counted on 1 July 2025. It does not carry over to later drives.
